How to generate your KRA Tax Compliance Certificate

 When applying for most Government jobs, job seekers  are required to furnish recruiters with a Tax compliance certificate as part of Chapter Six documents of the Kenyan Constitution requirement. 

When bidding for Tenders most tenderers require a Tax Compliance certificate from Bidders popularly referred to as TCC.

In light of the above I will give a step by step approach on how to generate a Tax Compliance certificate for entities (Individuals and companies ) without any tax liabilities that are due.

Step 1:On your Browser go to Itax Website

Step 2.Select iTax -KRA option and click on the https://itax.kra.go.ke which will direct you to the website's Home page below. Input your KRA PIN and click on continue. A tab that requires you to input your password will pop up. Input your  password and the answer for the security summation or subtraction equation and click on 'log in'.

Step 3.On clicking on, "login " you will be directed to your iTax Account Homepage  below.

Step 4.Go to Certificates tab and from the selection click on 'Consult and Reprint TCC'

Step 5: Select your Reason for Application and submit.

            Click on "Click Here to Download Tax Compliance Certificate "next to the                                           acknowledgement number and save to your preferred storage.

How to generate KRA PIN certificate

 Step 1: On your search Engine search for iTax. You will get below results.

Step 2.Select iTax -KRA option and click on the https://itax.kra.go.ke which will direct you to the website's Home page below. Input your KRA PIN and click on continue. A tab that requires you to input your password will pop up. Input your  password and the answer for the security summation or subtraction equation and click on 'log in'.

Step 3.On clicking on, "login " you will be directed to your iTax Account Homepage  below.

Step 4:Click on the Tab for 'Registration'( the 2nd  top right Tab) and select the 3rd option from the top from the selection, which is "Reprint PIN Certificate". The page below will open.

Step 5:On Applicant type select the option for 'Taxpayer'.Your PIN and Name will pop up  then click on 'submit'. The page below will show.

 

Step 6: Click on ,'Click here to download PIN Certificate' and save it on your preferred storage.

Below is how you PIN Certificate will look like depending on the number of obligations registered.

How to check obligations registered under your KRA PIN

📈📁 Step1:On your search engine go to KRA Homepage by typing www.itax.kra.go.ke

Step 2.Click on KRA PIN checker and input the PIN you want to search its registered obligations and also key in the results of the security stamp summation or subtraction and click consult.

Step 3.Check for the obligation(s) registered.If you find there are obligation(s) registered for that you are not supposed to have like PAYE or VAT visit your KRA tax station to lodge a complain for removal of the obligation(s)
